  • Exclusively female plants unlike seed-propagated plants which could turn out to be male, female, or hermaphrodite. Relatively dwarf plants suitable for homestead, kitchen garden, and for terrace cultivation.
  • Ideal for monocropping in open fields with full sunlight accommodating 800 plants per acre at 2x 2 m spacing.
  • Commences flowering in about 4 months, usually at 40-60 cm from soil level. First harvest in 7-8 months giving the preferred medium-size fruits of 0.5-1.0 Kg, roundish in shape.
  • No pollination needed for fruit-setting on account of the parthenocarpic fruit-setting potential. Gives seedless fruits with orange-red flesh and good sweetness (12-15 Brix TSS).
